The sole reason to write this post is to give you some tips on working out which of the 600 odd MLM Companies will be the best for YOU to align yourself with, as opposed to the much more open question of which is the Best MLM Company.
You see despite what may have been suggested to you, it is not all about the MLM Company or their compensation plan, but it is all about how you will relate to the products and services that they have for sale.
Yes I know that the real money is in building out a network which of course is very much about the business plan and the opportunities it offers.
What a load of Bull…Just think about it for a second. Ask yourself this simple question, has Herbalife been around as long as it has and make its profits from the “Opportunity” or from the fact that thousands of people buy their produce? What happens when you sign in to one of these companies. The major component of your sign up costs is to buy their stuff!You see if it did not include products or services, then it would simply be a Pyramid scheme, and of course we all know that this activity is illegal.
Now it is critical to understand that there are some MLM programs out there that are not exactly ethical in the way they conduct their business. But that is the same in all walks of life. Without the constant movement or selling of their products and services, no MLM Company will stand the test of time. After all if they are not moving their goods and services all that will be left is that pyramid system.
I just want you to review the selling of that all important “Business Plan” We all know that to succeed with your best MLM Company you absolutely must attract people to your network as well as selling the Goods and services. I have no dramas with that concept.
On the other, if the goods and or services that you are representing are really something you are passionate about, then how do you expect to not only sell them but more importantly the Business?
Winning with an MLM business is an exciting prospect, and it is easy to get caught up in pushing the “Opportunity” and most network marketers do get caught in that trap. Without a balance in your attention to both the products and the Business Plan, failure is almost a certainty.
Consider the little experience for a moment. One of the best MLM companies is undoubtedly Mary Kay. But there is no way I would ever go any where near it.
That might seem like a pretty big statement, but.
Allow me to introduce a few things about myself. I have many years of experience in furniture and consumables for printers.
I am an adept sales person but, I am a middle aged Male from Australia.I love lots of things in life but one of them is definitely not cosmetics.
As you can see there are a few things that might get in the way of me having a good business with Mary Key:
-There is just no synergy between me and the wonderful goods available
-It will be almost impossible for me to have any credibility with my prospects
I know this might seem like an exaggerated case, but my point is that regardless of your enthusiasm for the business plan, you must have a strong belief or bond with the products themselves.
If you take a look at any successful business person, the underlying factor you will find in all of them is an absolute passion about what it is that they do, not how much money that they make. The money is the by product.
Asking yourself the very simple question “which is going to be the best MLM company for me?” is a much more important question of what other people think is the best.
